i collected a large chunk of discarded scrap pine beam from a new home being constructed down the street from us. i think there is enough material in that block of wood to make about six of these little house shapes.

They’ll be cute! Love the wood grain and circular knot mark on the wood. One wonders where it grew, how big was the tree, the creatures and birds that played on it, found shelter there, kids that climbed it, etc. Besides it’s use today, it too had a past and story!
